Moose Monday: 2nd Birthday and 1st Blogiversary!

Happy Moose Monday Friends!

Today I'm celebrating because we are talking about how I celebrated my 2nd birthday last week and with that it means this little blog space of mine has been around for 1 year, too!

So much to celebrate and be excited about!

Tuesday (April 12th) was my official birthday but we celebrated all week long

We kicked off the weekend with a Shake Shack treat 

Pooch-ini's are so delicious and the perfect special treat

I couldn't wait for Mom to snap a picture before diving right in

On my actual birthday we had to be up early because it was a work day for Mom and Dad

But before they left I got to try on my birthday hat and had a little breakfast treat of whipped cream, my favorite!

 

And for a little fun-- here was me in my birthday hat on my 1st birthday :)

 

Mom had class so she wasn't home until later but Dad and I went for a nice long walk and then snuggled up to watch some TV until Mom got home. And when she walked in the door she came with more birthday surprises!

She had stopped at a local pup bakery in the city and brought me a delicious "Yappy Meal" and bone for dessert- it was the best!

We broke it up into pieces to enjoy all week long

And then the week went on and gifts kept coming! 

Gigi sent me this card and silly toy

 

(Which I chewed apart in a record time of 5 minutes)

And Grandma Lauren gave me these awesome toys which I couldn't wait to get my paws on

Lastly, Mom put together a little video of some of my adventures over the past year for us to look back at and remember

It was a pretty great 2nd birthday and I love all of my humans for thinking of and celebrating with me! I also want to say thank you to all of you for following me on my adventures through the last year of my life- I can't wait to continue to share them with you. You guys are the best!

Friday Favorites: How I've Missed You All Edition

Happy Friday!!

I hope you all have fun plans for the weekend
I have SO much to catch you up on in my little pup life so it will have to be over a few posts!

Since I last posted we've celebrated Dad's Birthday, celebrated Easter, AND I turned 2 on Tuesday (just to name a few things)

Here are a few favorite items from the past few weeks...

ONE

Rainy Day Walks

April Showers bring May Flowers...right?
We've been having a lot of rain lately which isn't usually my favorite but as long as the thunder holds off I can enjoy a light rainy walk

At least when I come in from the rain I have a perfect excuse to snuggle up with my favorite humans

TWO

Shark Toy from Target

Target is back at it again with their cute Boots and Barkley toy line for the Spring!
This little Shark was in my Easter Basket and he is definitely a favorite.

We couldn't find him online but found this adorable crab and this moose that we must be on the look out to add to my collection!

THREE

Dad's Birthday
 
During our little non-intentional (life just got really busy) blog break one of my favorite humans of all time had a birthday and I couldn't wait to celebrate Dad!

We had cake, ate yummy food and I got to help him open his gifts!

FOUR

Easter with My New Puppy Cousins

Easter was pretty low key this year but I still dressed as the Easter Beagle, played with my new puppy cousins (Buster and Cooper), Dyed Eggs and had fun with family!

We will share more pictures next week but I couldn't let it go by without being documented as a favorite day of the year!

FIVE

Baseball is Back

Which means Spring weather will be here any day...we hope!
I love watching the Baltimore Orioles with my humans
Too bad they couldn't stay undefeated forever but they kicked off the year with an amazing start!

We are also cheering my other favorite sports teams the Washington Capitals into the playoffs which started yesterday! Go Jay Beagle!
