  16. Play with my Friends

Only 4 things I can fully cross of the list with another 2 in process...
It's not terrible but it's not great progress either!

We have quite a bit to do this next month!

Here's more on the items we did check off...

HOMEMADE TREATS

Mom did make these yummy Cheesy Carrot Muffins for me
She also made fun animal cut out treats that we will be sharing next week!

HAVING A FIRE

Here I am playing with my toys by the fire...I will admit I wasn't a HUGE fan
But it was still a lot of fun!

GETTING PAMPERED

I did get pampered this past month. As soon as I got home I decided it was nap time with my bandanna still on. Getting pampered is necessary but exhausting!

PLAYING WITH FRIENDS

I played with my human friends, dog friends, and tons of family this month.
It was great! And I hope to do the same in July.

Mom and I both plan to cross off quite a few more this weekend coming up!
Here's our status for the items in process or being checked off in the near future...

SWIM

Mom got me a baby pool from Target to splash around in we just have yet to try it out!
I did hop in my cousin Lexi's one time when I was visiting them but Mom said it didn't qualify as full swimming yet.

My pool looks something like this...

Although, I wanted this one for Shark Week
But Mom was worried I would pop it :(

DOG PARK

We are set and ready to roll...we just need to make the time to go!
Mom thinks this weekend will be a perfect time. She only has to work a half day today so we might even be going later on!
Yay! I can't wait.

LEARN A NEW TRICK

I'm all signed up to start Intermediate Dog Classes next week.
We have been working on remembering all the tricks from my Beginner Class AND Mom has been trying to get me to roll over. We aren't ready to share yet but hopefully we will be by the end of July!

My Intermediate Class will teach me a bunch of new tricks because I'll get to work on the agility equipment which will be completely new for me.
I can't wait!

WALK/RUN A 5K

Mom started her Marathon Training yesterday.
We've been walking or running every single day (most days twice) to stay in shape and gear up for her training.
Now that she's officially training, I like to think I'm also officially in training.
But we still need to find a race to run...any suggestions for the East Coast area??

ANNUAL VET VISIT

Mom made my appointment!
So this will definitely be done in July, whether I like it or not.

STREET FESTIVAL

With the 4th of July Holiday this Weekend our little town will have fireworks, a parade, and a Soap Box Derby.
We hope to attend and check out all of the events!

Who knows...maybe we will get to the rest of the list, too!

I'm just excited and happy that we still have the rest of the Summer. There's still plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine with my humans!

We truly are blessed today and every day.

How's your Summer going?!

  1. You, my Moose friend (and your humans), are a blessing to me from waaaaaay back there on the East Coast!

Wow, you have a lot of fun stuff going on for the summer. I was just wondering - yesterday - about the run you and your mom were going to do and if you were still planning to do the T-shirts. I wanted to buy a "pawtographed" one.

I'm sure your vet appt will be good- your mom will be right there to calm and cuddle you. If she brings little training bits, they can be rewards as you get through each point of the exam. I did that with Ann last week. She had a good exam then. Unfortunately now she's a bit under the weather with a "girl infection" - not fun.

    Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

    1. Hi Laurie!!

Happy Long Weekend!! We are still doing the race for Mom's work--they are signed up and ready to go for early October. I'm hoping we will have the shirts designed soon- we will definitely let you know!

I hope Ann feels better soon and gets a lot of rest this weekend!!
