It's Moose Monday!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
I sure did and I'm excited to fill you guys in on my weekend!
Dad was away for the weekend so I got Mom all to myself for an extended Mother's Day Weekend.
It was perfect! We did tons of fun stuff!
Our first night I protected Mom by watching out the door while she enjoyed her TV shows and we did some snuggling.
Then, I helped Mom clean which included changing the sheets and making the bed, one of my favorite chores of the week.

Once the sheet is in place, I have to run around and play to make sure it's on right.

| Mom usually plays hide and seek with me and throws the comforter over my head to let me know it's time to stop playing on the sheets! |

| Then I help fluff the pillows. |

| At this point, I'm usually bored...so while Mom puts the finishing touches on making the bed, I lay on the nice clean comforter and chew my toys. |
Once the bed was made we got to eat cheese and crackers for dinner (my favorite) while relaxing!
Before I knew it, it was Friday and time to take a little road trip to spend the weekend with Gigi

As soon as we got there, I couldn't wait to play with my Uncles!
I hung out by the pool while Mom and Gigi relaxed.
I even did a little gardening for Gigi
It was pretty hot by the pool so when I was inside I enjoyed the cool air and kept myself busy watching everyone outside or burying a bone in Gigi's FUF.

Gigi and I spent some time together on Mother's Day morning with a nice walk.
And then we knocked on the window to say hello to everyone inside!
Time flew at Gigi's house and then it was time to head back home and pick Dad up from the airport.
I was exhausted and slept while Mom drove
But don't worry I woke up just in time to play look out for Dad.
I was so excited to see him after his weekend away.
We went home and relaxed on the couch after a long and fun weekend for all of us!
It was a great long weekend but boy am I tired and ready for a restful Monday.

Happy Monday Moose! The pictures of you under the covers is how I felt when the alarm clock went off this morning. Sounds like you had a great weekend with your family. You're such a mom helper with the bed linens. My dog Ann always test the bed to make sure the pillows are plumped to perfection and there are no lumps in the sheets/blankets.
ReplyDeleteOn a serious note, please make sure your mom and dad have you microchipped in case you get separated from your family... and you don't have your tags on....not that you would ever leave such a wonderful home!
