Happy Christmas Eve Eve!
Are you ready yet?!
Each year, Mom helps me make something to give to the special humans in my life.
Last year, we made salt dough pawprint ornaments
They were fun to make and give to everyone!
However, we have since found out they are toxic to pups - so DO NOT make them.
We snapped a picture and threw it in the trash and told our friends and family to do the same--better safe than sorry!

This year, we made Cinnamon Moose Ornaments!
They were fun, easy and smell delicious!!

(And safe)
We used the McCormick Cinnamon Ornament Recipe
See below for the full list of ingredients and steps or follow the step by step picture instructions
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F and then get to mixing the applesauce and cinnamon in a small bowl until a smooth ball of dough has formed
Roll the dough between two sheets of plastic wrap
Remove the top sheet of plastic wrap so that you may begin using the cookie cutters to cut your desired shape for your ornament.
We used our Moose cookie cutters from Aunt Kori!
Be sure to make a small hole at the top of the ornament (using the straw)
Place your cut shapes onto the baking sheet to bake for 2 1/2 hours
Once done baking, remove and cool
Insert your ribbon through the hole, wrap them up and begin gifting!
Also, be sure to hang one on your tree to enjoy!
Mom dated the back to be sure we knew which year they were from, too.

Merry Christmas to the Parker family! Love the moose cinnamon ornaments - I can imagine the house smelling so good... Thanks for the tip on the salt dough being toxic, although Moose's pawprint is adorable. Have a very blessed and safe Christmas!
