Friday Favorites

Happy, happy Friday!!

Before we move on to Friday Favorites, I have a quick prayer request.

My cousin Eddie has 3 slipped disks in his back and because he is just a little guy this has become a huge, potentially life-threatening problem for him. Aunt Kori and Uncle Bryan are doing their best to nurse him back to health and hoping his back will heal.

 

He has to stay confined to his cage for the next 6-8 weeks and hope this will do the trick to heal his back.  

Please send your thoughts and prayers his way for a full and quick recovery.

Hang in there little guy! We love you!

It's been a pretty good week and I'm happy to say we are back into our routine after our little trip away from home last week, well somewhat back into our routine...we're getting there...anyways on to favorites...

When I was at Gigi's house she surprised me with this HUGE bone.

It has lasted me into this week and has been a FAVORITE chew toy for sure!

Sleeping laying down, sleeping standing up...it doesn't matter where...

I've been taking some of my FAVORITE naps all week long!

FOUR

Speaking of sleeping Mom was sick this week so I had one of my FAVORITE snuggle buddies home with me for a day.

We slept, snuggled, and shared some saltine crackers...

I tried to cheer Mom up by showing her a new trick...I can roll my tongue!

FIVE

There are so many, I can't decide...

Morning runs with my humans, 

playing fetch, 

chilling in the hammock with mom and dad, chasing squirrels, 

going on car rides, 

and laying in the grass!

Nope..I'm the only pup!

On Dad's wing char in the living room, 

or on the dining room rug. 

My crate is awesome and nice and roomy, too!

What is your best trick?

I'm a professional squirrel hunter. I can spot them a mile away, even with my eyes closed. 

Plus I'm  a little dog, but I've got a mean bark!

What's new in your life?

This paw-some raincoat!!

What are you looking forward to?

I'm going to the vet this weekend. 

Fingers crossed that he says I can stop wearing this silly cone! It makes me look like a space dog!

WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK...

Mom got this great gift basket from her friends at work. 

She shared a few crackers with me and boy were they delicious!

WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT...

Puppy Class Graduation Last Fall

 I am now in intermediate classes which has me reminiscing about the good ole days where I learned how to sit and stay.

These days I'm running wild through the agility equipment!

WHAT I'M LOVING

Sunshine and Summertime!

I'm trying to soak up these summer days before they're gone.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

Last week, we headed to Baltimore to hang with Gigi, family and friends. 

Mom worked from home each day while I got to hang with my Uncle Jim and Uncle Drew!

This was Mom's view on some days...

She worked away while I slept in the FUF

Gigi took me through the Starbucks Drive Thru

Snuggles from Gigi and a pupachino makes for a perfect day if you ask me!

WHAT I'M DREADING

Hot, Hot, Hot

There's a heat wave on the East Coast for the next week or so and I'm not looking forward to it.
Fortunately, I'll swim in my pool to help cool me off :)

WHAT I'M WORKING ON

There's been celebrations galore this month!

I've been helping Mom plan parties, showers, and even small celebrations at home.

Wake up Mom, it's time to celebrate!

One of my favorites was when Dad won a big award at work and Mom and I planned an impromptu celebration on the way home from the Vet!

 Cake and snuggles sure seemed like a great celebration to me!

WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

WHAT I'M WATCHING

Uncle Drew came back from a High Adventure Camp while we were staying at Gigi's last week.
He had traveled to Minnesota and Canada for over a week!

When he got home we got to go to a special celebration at the Boy Scout meeting to hear all about his adventures in the wilderness! I had so much fun watching the slideshow and meeting all of Uncle Drew's friends.

 Guess what, he even saw a Moose...and not just a furry beagle one :)

WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

Mom broke down and became a Spotify Premium Member this past month and boy oh boy have we enjoyed it! We can pick any song we want and play tons of different playlists. It has lead to a lot more dancing in the kitchen :)

I tried to get Uncle Jim to dance with me while we were ate Gigi's house...but he wouldn't go for it

WHAT I'M WEARING

My new collar this month was my featured one for Shark Week.

Mom and Aunt Kori thought they were sharks when they saw it online but when it came in the mail they were actually Marlins. That's okay, I still love wearing it around!

WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND

Snuggling up and relaxing!
I plan to get outside a little, too...but only when my pool is close by...It's going to be a hot one and I want to be sure I can cool off!

WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

Brunch and Wag with my pup friends towards the end of the month!

I got to play with all of them when we were in Baltimore last week and can't wait to see them again!

WHAT ELSE IS NEW

We celebrated Baby Madelyn this past weekend!

I can't wait for her arrival this September and for Eddie to become a big brother.
