Shark Week: Toys & Outfits

While I enjoy playing with shark toys all year long, I need to make sure I have a few new ones ready for while I watch the new episodes during shark week!

But before getting to the new ones..

Let's go back to the beginning of my shark toy collection and start with this tough guy...

Here I am as a pup...in my shark shirt I might add...with my first shark toy!
My Gigi gave him to me when I came home with Mom and Dad (a year ago TODAY)
He truly is a "tough" toy because he is still around and I love playing with him.
He's lasted much longer then any of my other shark friends!

My second shark toy came from my Mom's Cousin, Lindsay.
It was a hammerhead (Mom's favorite shark)
I loved this little guy and even ripped in half!

Over the winter, Petco came out with a shark toy line and Mom and I loved it!
She bought a few and has given me one every couple of months...
Petco Nubby Blue Shark Dog Toy
This guy is still available, here.
I can't promise that he is in one piece either but he has been a ton of fun to play with!

A few weeks ago, Mom gave me my next shark friend to play with...
This one was a pirate shark!
Unfortunately, he is no longer available.

Mom's favorite part about him...he had a cool story on his tag!
Mom's a yoga lover, too! So Swabby and Mom got along just great.

I couldn't wait to play with him!

Believe it or not he's still around and I have enjoyed playing with him a lot this week!

Just for Shark Week, I got two new toys...

My last Petco Shark Toy

AND

This lifesaver toy from Target
Boots & Barkley™ Fetch Life Preserver

Both of which have been great additions to my collection!

And speaking of shark collections...Shark Week wouldn't be complete without a few shark outfits.

I know you've all seen my Hammerhead Shark outfit before...
But it is too perfect for this week not to wear it and share it again!

I also tried on my shark fin earlier this week...

And pretended to dive off the couch for some goldfish crackers

Phew, all of these shark toys and outfits sure are making me hungry!
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for our favorite Shark Week foods!!!

Happy Wednesday Friends!

  1. Oh Moose. Happy Adoption Anniversary, and the same week as Shark Week! I love your shark toys - almost as adorable as you. I might have to get a shark for Ann. Your shark fin costume with you prepared for diving for goldfish is too cute. I think they make big goldfish crackers too, not just the regular sized ones. You dog sharks have big appetites. Have a great day!
