Friday Favorites

Woo..we made it! 

I still can't believe the first week of August is already behind us.

Before Favorites I wanted to give a quick update on my cousin Eddie. 

Last Friday, I asked all of you for thoughts and prayers to send his way. 

First of all, THANK YOU for those of you have commented or emailed!

Eddie, Aunt Kori and Uncle Bryan send lots of thanks, too!

Although he is still confined to his cage and not to happy about it, it does look like initially he is doing better than originally expected. He hasn't gotten worse which the Vet said is an excellent sign. It's going be a long road of recovery ahead for the little guy but keep those thoughts and prayers coming--they seem to be working thus far! 

Also, Aunt Kori has asked me to reach out to all of you and ask for any tips or ideas to keep Eddie from getting bored or depressed while in his cage--she would gladly welcome any suggestions she can get!

Now...Favorites Time!

ONE

So I'm starting out with not exactly my FAVORITE activity of all time...

BATHTIME

I know it's a necessary thing to keep me nice and clean and I don't mind it but I don't really love it either.

What parts are my FAVORITE?

Snuggling with Dad beforehand (to try to hide from the bath)

Dad don't make me!

Making Mom and Dad chase me to dry me off

and let's face it, the treats I get afterwards aren't terrible either...

...I guess bathtime does turn out to be a FAVORITE (sometimes)

TWO

Over the last month, Mom launched her own Stella & Dot site. At first, I wasn't really sure what this meant but then I saw this new bracelet when it was delivered to the house...

...and now I'm all about it.

It is a FAVORITE of mine because Mom can think of me all day while she's at work.

THREE

Mom and Dad have a party to go to on Saturday so I get to hang with my Cousins this weekend and I cannot wait! 

Seeing Lexi and Lucy (and Uncle Scotty and Grandma Lauren) are always a FAVORITE of mine.

Maybe we will play with shark toys again...

Or go on long walks with Uncle Scotty!

What I know for sure?

Some FAVORITE fun times are ahead of me!

FOUR

Target has released a new set of Boots & Barkley toys!

I have added a few new FAVORITE friends to my gang.

One of which, is this Giraffe. 

I also have this other Giraffe and this Snake (Mom & Dad like him because they can hide treats in his body for me to find!)

I hope Mom and Dad bring home this Wild Boar friend, next!

FIVE

As we work towards completing my Summer Bucket List, Mom thought it would be a fun idea to bring one of my frisbees to play with while we watched Dad play softball this week. 

 I was less than interested to play at that time, there was too much going on!

However, the frisbee became a FAVORITE chew toy when I got tired.

And while at softball, I found a FAVORITE place to sit...Mom's foot.

 Every time she would try to move it, I would just scoot back and sit back on it. 

Humans sure do make great beds, pillows and resting spots!

Plus, I like to make sure she stays put!

Sorry Mom, You're not going nowhere!
