Moose Monday is here!!
Mom and I took on a special craft project this last week that we want to share with all of you!
These canvas pictures for above Mom and Dad's bed.
First, Mom waited for Michael's Craft Store to have a sale on the canvas.
Since she had other crafting to do with these, she bought in bulk.
For the project, we used four 8x10 canvases and one 20x24 canvas
She also got some Mod Podge and some brushes
The pictures for the canvas she ordered that week from Shutterfly and they came in the mail in just a few days. However, if you're crafting last minute you could always choose to pick the prints up in just an hour at a local store.
For each canvas, we coated them with the Mod Podge
Then placed the picture on top, and put Mod Podge over to seal it
For the bigger picture, we had to trim it down to fit the canvas size but it was a pretty simple fix!
Once we sealed them all, we let them dry on our coffee table downstairs
You might notice that there are streaks from where the Mod Podge goes on the front of the picture to seal it, don't worry those dry completely clear!
I oversaw them while they dried to make sure no one messed them up!
Once they were completely dry we hauled them upstairs to be hung above the bed
They turned out perfectly!
Mom, Dad, and I all LOVE them.
Personally, I like looking at the one in the middle every morning and sometimes barking at it...
I just can't seem to figure out who that handsome pup in the picture is ;)
